We are delighted to announce our collaboration with chef Jean-Alexandre Ouaratta.

For the first time, Volatys is joining forces with a chef in an exclusive partnership based on the values of excellence, sharing and enjoyment.

The catering sector is constantly evolving. Therefore, working with a chef ambassador now supports professionals, enhances expertise, and meets real-world needs. This collaboration is fully in line with Volatys’ desire to offer even more tailored and inspiring solutions for our customers.

Through this collaboration, Jean-Alexandre Ouaratta will create exclusive recipes and themed videos using our products. In addition, he will provide expert insights and practical advice.

A rich and inspiring career

Jean-Alexandre Ouaratta was born in 1981 in Saint-Paul, Réunion. At 21, he moved to mainland France to train and work in some of the most prestigious French restaurants. Driven by a desire to discover new techniques and refine his culinary style, he began his career in Lyon, where he spent five years working in renowned establishments, including  the resturant of the legendary Paul Bocuse.

His quest for excellence then took him to Monaco, to the (enlever) Monte Carlo Bay, alongside Marcel Ravin, then to Paris, to the three Michelin-starred restaurant Le Meurice, where he perfected his cuisine for five years under Yannick Alléno .

His career continued in Courchevel at Le Cheval Blanc, where he worked as a sous-chef. Later, he joined the Royal Mansour in Marrakech, one of the world’s most prestigious hotels.

In 2013, Jean-Alexandre Ouaratta took over the restaurant at Château de Bagnols in the Beaujolais region. Passionate about local produce, he offers a cuisine that enhances each ingredient and awakens the taste buds. He was awarded his first Michelin star in 2016, recognizing his exceptional career and his mastery of the culinary arts.
